Baja Sur events March 17-27:FCTS-LP Film Festival,Fiestas of San Jose Del Cabo, Skim Fest, Apparitions Festival, Magic Giant

Now in its 13th edition, from Tuesday 15 to Monday 21, the FACTS-LPpresent another eclectic, surprising and refreshing selection of movies from all over the Latin world, with stellar presence of Diego Luna, who will do the world premiere of his new movie.
Opening with a Cuban night at Hotel Casa Tota, the festival will hold quasi daily special events and galas. Do not miss the Night of Stars at the famed Hotel California on Wednesday March 16.

Fiestas of San José del Cabo, this 5-day festival culminates on March 20. Beginning with evening parties and music on the 15th of March, the festival increases with carnivals and parades on weekends. Food venues are placed throughout all downtown, and booths carrying items like fresh warm tamales and sugared pumpkin candies are also available.

Another chance to enjoy all we love about Baja this Saturday, March 19th. Check out the Skimboard constest hosted by the Todos Santos Surf Shop at the beach in front of Los Pinos market (down Camino el Paci­fico) from 8am to 2pm. Then, for some evening fun, head over to the award ceremony and live music with KL Reggae at La Esquina. Door opens at 7:30pm.

Apparitions Festival  in Todos Santos is a mind-blowing 4 day experience of non-stop electronic music in a stunning natural location. El Ganzo Presents the high energy Indy Folk band Magic Giant on March 26. NPR proclaimed, “This L.A. indie-folk band has a festival anthem on its hands,” and since then Magic giant has moved bodies and souls in over thirty cities across North America this year.
